About Public Hot Springs
This site lists hot springs the public may legally soak in. Every fact carries its source link and the date we checked it. Where a rule is not posted, we say so instead of guessing.
What we publish
A fact is one of four kinds: a quote from the page that posts it, a value we computed with a named method, an agency's general rule labeled as a general rule, or "not posted" with the date we looked. If a fact is missing, the line is left off.
We take no ratings, reviews, user photos or comments. Pages that have too few sourced or computed facts are kept out of search results.
Report a correction
If a rule, price or hour has changed, write to hello@publichotsprings.com with the spring name and the page that shows the change. We re-read the source and update the page with a new checked date.
How it is made
The pages are built from one data file and static templates. How each fact is found is on the Method page; photo and data credits are on the Credits page.
